Meghana is a junior majoring in Public Health with a minor in Biochemistry at the University of Michigan. She joined Partners in Health Engage in Fall 2023 and has been instrumental in growing the chapter from the ground up, expanding membership and establishing a leadership team. Meghana is passionate about not only being part of the medical system but also changing it for the better. Beyond PIH Engage, Meghana is involved in multiple organizations focused on combining her many passions of science, art, and community. Her work with M-Heal Empowering Health and Community Outreach (EHCO) includes leading initiatives that address social determinants of health and organizing impactful service projects. As a fellow on the National Team for Ballet & Books, Meghana combines her love of dance with efforts to close the literacy gap in underserved communities. She is also dedicated to studying ovarian cancer progression in the DiFeo laboratory and working as a Medical Assistant as she is passionate aobut patient care. In her free time, Meghana enjoys dancing, reading, and spending time with her family and friends!

Gabrielle is a junior double-majoring in Public Health and International Studies on the Global Environment and Health track. She is from Nashville, Tennessee, and has been a part of Partners in Health since Summer 2024. Her academic interests include public health policy and federal resource allocation, examining how vital healthcare resources are distributed unequally across populations. Currently, she is a Ginsberg Community Leaders Fellow with Survivors Speak, a non-profit organization in Washtenaw County. In addition, she leads a 7-member committee to support the advocacy goals of Clubhouse Michigan, an expansive network of communities for those living with mental illness. In her free time, she enjoys hiking and trying new restaurants!

Junseo is a junior and a premedical student double-majoring in Neuroscience and International Studies on the Global Environment and Health track. He is from Montgomery, Alabama and joined the University of Michigan PIH Engage chapter in Fall 2024. Outside of PIH Engage, Junseo is passionate about enhancing people's access to rights—especially the right to healthcare. Junseo is serving as a political consultant for the student organization Michigan Political Consulting. As a political consultant, Junseo has provided policy research and advertisement services for Global Detroit to contribute toward making Michigan a more immigrant-friendly environment. Currently, in Michigan Political Consulting, he is working with the non-profit organization Voters Not Politicians to strengthen Michigan's democracy through protection and promotion of voting rights. Junseo is also the Stand For the Kids Fundraising Chair of the premedical fraternity Phi Delta Epsilon, where he has coordinated numerous events to raise funds for children receiving treatments by Children's Miracles Network Hospitals. For work, Junseo is a research assistant for the Pearring Lab at the Kellogg Eye Center, where he studies the phagocytosis of discs in the outer segment of rod photoreceptors. Additionally, Junseo works as a patient care technician at the Michigan Medicine Surgical ICU on the weekends. In his free time, Junseo enjoys cooking, traveling, and eating out with friends!

Freonia is a junior majoring in Public Health Sciences (B.S.). She is from Poughkeepsie, New York, located halfway between Albany and NYC. She is a proud member of Partners in Health Engage and is very interested in the intersection between our government and health. Outside of PIH Engage, Freonia is a Project Committee Lead for Project RISHI, a club that aims to promote the sustainable development and growth of rural Indian communities by partnering with local community members and organizations. She is also a member of CURIS—Public Health Advocacy, where she works with Washtenaw Face Addiction Now (WFAN), a local organization to help individuals and families to address and prevent substance use disorders. Additionally, Freonia is also a research assistant at the Center for Midlife Science, where she works on the Study of Women's Health Across the Nation (SWAN) to address disability accommodations in older women, In her free time, Freonia enjoys watching movies, cooking, baking, and playing board games with friends!

Tallulah is a freshman planning to major in Biology, Health, and Society (BHS). She is from Swampscott, Massachusetts, and joined the University of Michigan Partners in Health Engage chapter this past fall. She has been a part of PIH Engage for the last few years as she started a PIH Engage chapter at her high school where she served as a Team Coordinator. Outside of PIH Engage, Tallulah spends her time volunteering as a hospital greeter, serving food at a soup kitchen, and tutoring elementary school students. She also enjoys running, cooking, sailing, and exploring new coffee shops with friends!

Jennifer is a sophomore double majoring in Biochemistry and Biophysics and minoring Sociology of Health and Medicine on the premedical track. She is from Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, and joined Partners in Health Engage in Winter 2025. Outside of PIH Engage, Jennifer is very passionate about combining her interest in healthcare and service. Jennifer is the Co-President for the student organization Organ Transplant and Health Awareness (OTHA), promoting the organ donor registry and destigmatizing the topic of transplantation. She is also an Insurance and Referral Counselor volunteering at the University of Michigan Student-Run Free Clinic (UMSRFC), where she is trained to help uninsured/underinsured patients secure health insurance, such as Medicaid or MSupport. Jennifer has also been volunteering at the Frankel Cardiovascular Center for over a year. Additionally, she is conducting research at the Joglekar Lab, where she studies the importance of kinetochores in the process of mitosis and helps build de novo proteins to study the function of Dam1 rings in yeast. In her free time, Jennifer loves baking and watching movies with her friends, exploring new restaurants, and meeting new people!
